Getting so Smart

Kolten has been practicing writing his name and doing such a good job. He can usually remeber all the letters in his name, they are not always in order but thats ok. He asked me how to write my name and i figured mom would be easier than Adrienne so I wrote it once and after just one time he erased it and wrote it again twice all by himself. He is getting so big and wanting to learn more everyday!

~Jensen Christmas Party~

Kolten to shy to talk to Santa!
Kolten working very hard on his house.
Hadley was ok as long as we were a good distance away from him.

Hadley screaming when I took her up to Santa.

They had the stuff for each kid to make a house to take home. They had so much fun and are still eating alittle bit of their houses everyday!

Hadley working on her house with the help of Grandma Gilbert.

We had the Jensen (Grandma Gilbert's side) party on Saturday. We were very excited to be around this year to go to all the celebrations and this was a great way to start out. We had a great lunch and then a visit from Santa. Which of course my kids were the two that were the most scared. Can't really blame Hadley besides one party when she was a few months old she has never seen Santa before. It was a good time. The kids had fun playing with all the other kids and it was good to see everyone, even though Justin wasn't able to come until the very end.

~Potty Training!~

Being Silly!

Enjoying a book about going on the potty!
Potty Training time. She is actually doing really good. She loves to read and she knows she gets a treat every time. She seems to be picking it up a little bit quicker than Kolten did so that is good. I am hoping to have her done and trained before Quincey gets here, Wish me Luck!! :)

Baby Aden

Justin holding Aden

Hadley "holding" Aden. Really she had her arms spread out and i was doing the holding.

Kolten with Aden. I love the smile, he is very excited for our baby to get here!
We are so happy for Lance and Chelsea and their new addition to the family. It's about time that we got another boy on the Gilbert side. Kolten and Aden are the only boys out of eight, soon to be nine grandkids! Congrats you guys, he is just perfect!! :)

~Silly Kids!~

Kolten & Hadley

Hadley our little Cowgirl!
Hadley's new favorite thing to wear is Kolten's cowboy hat. Of course I can't just get a picture of her Kolten has to get in on the action too. (Don't mind the peanut butter faces!)

Baby Girl Gilbert

Tickling her own back!

Her tiny feet!

So as you may have guessed, We are having another GIRL! We are so excited but I am still very much in shock. I have been saying since day one that I thought it was a boy, mostly based on how I felt. I have not been sick at all, only thrown up once. When I was prego with Hadley I was so sick that I guess I would be with every girl. I think it is still going to take some time to think about it. I have been thinking about all boy stuff this whole time now it is hard to just switch. Anyway we are very excited and still set for April 6th!

Costumes & Pumpkins!

Hadley our Denver Broncos Cheerleader! (she didn't really want any pictures taken!)

I did get a little smile after I gave her a treat! :)
Kolten dressed as a G I Joe. He had such a hard time picking his costume this year, he just couldn't decide. I ended up going to the store and picking it out and brought it home, he was excited about it when I told him he got a sword with it!
Kolten painting his pumpkin at Grandma Gleed's house. He did it all by himself.
Outside with the finished product.Hadley painting away. She had at least five colors on there and had a great time just spreading it around.
We had a great Halloween. I took the kids to Lee's were they got enough candy that we didn't even need to go trick or treating but we went to the Lewiston trunk or treat anyway. Hadley cried for a good ten minutes because there was a spiderman behind us (even though he was only 6 years old!) and Kolten would freak out if they had candy that he didn't like. We then made the rounds to some family and headed over to Paul and Mandy's for a movie and treats. It was a great day!! :)
